As mentioned in a previous post, I had the pleasure of working with a team of talented vendors from the Vancouver-area. Thanks to the vision and direction of Spread Love Events, I created several custom decor items for the beautiful vow renewal of Melissa and Aaron.

Now the moment we've all been waiting for...the Wedding Belles television segment that featured all of our hardwork.

It's that time of year again where the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping is starting to fill the streets of weekend shoppers everywhere.

In my case, I LOVE holiday shopping no matter how busy it can be (crazy, right?), but what often stumps me the most is finding that perfect gift for everyone on my list. Luckily, I stumbled upon this little beauty a few years ago and have been anxiously awaiting it's yearly release ever since. From the clever writer of Creature Comforts Blog, comes the most wonderful FREE online magazine there is, Gifted Magazine - Holiday Gift Guide 2011.

...And, if any of my secret santa's just so happen to be reading this, my list of favourite things from the issue will be posted soon!

WEDDING VOW RENEWAL - LOVE GROWS

Recommitting to your partner with vow renewals is increasing in popularity and we don't just mean in Hollywood. Perhaps you want to reaffirm your commitment to each other or celebrate the landmark of years you've shared together, whatever the reason, we think it's fantastic! Then again, we are big into throwing parties which is exactly why we were so thrilled when asked to be a part of Melissa of Buttercream Couture and Aaron's 10 Year wedding vow renewal.

Styled by the fantastic sister-duo of Spread Love Events and captured perfectly by Rebecca Amber, the romantic renewal took place at the picturesque Chapel at the Chateau Whistler. Inspired by the vast wilderness and encapsulating mountain scape, the theme "Love Grows" featured natural elements of birch trees, stumps, moss and wild flowers arranged by vintage floral specialists, Celsia Florist.

Here at Thimble Design, we were beyond thrilled to look after the creation of several decor items like the personalized favor bags filled with wildflower seedlings, vellum layered programs, sweet chalkboard signage, handpainted 'Love Grows' pillows, a pinstripe ring bearer pillow and the perfect photo prop, a canvas bunting banner.

The beautiful day was wonderfully captured for an upcoming segment on Shaw TV's, the Wedding Belles. Stay tuned!
